Shipping policy
Thank you for shopping at van Walraven Goudsmid! I'm thrilled that you have taken the time to shop through my galleries and wares. All of my jewellery is handcrafted, packaged and shipped by me, Peter van Walraven. As this is currently a one-man show and a young business there will be growing pains and gains, and I kindly ask for your patients with the shipping of your wares. Orders will ship via Canada Post - standard unless otherwise specified upon order. Items above the $500 CAN will require a signature upon arrival.
For custom designs, commissions refurbished and repairs I will be in direct contact with you to notify when the piece is ready as well as the method of transportation.
COVID DELAYS:
Due to increased precautionary measures and parcel volumes, carriers may experience unexpected delays. During this time, it is not uncommon for tracking updates to lapse. I kindly ask that you allow an additional 3-5 business days on top of the quoted transit time before sending in an inquiry to Customer Support. Should your order not arrive after this time period, please contact me, and I would be happy to investigate this further for you.
FULFILLMENT TIME:
We understand you are excited to receive your order, and so am I! However, I kindly do ask that you allow up to 3 business days for me to process your order upon confirmation of payment. Each order is packaged by me, making sure your product will be delivered safely. All items are packaged and boxed then placed into shipping envelopes preparing the journey to you.
During sale periods and peak volumes during the holidays, we ask that you allow up to 5 business days for your order to be fulfilled before shipping.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. The average shipping time within Canada is 3-5 business days via Canada Post.
We offer free shipping for production pieces over $500.00 CAN to Canadian addresses only.
Express services available at extra costs.

LOCAL DELIVERY
Free local delivery is only available for production orders over $250.00 and within the downtown core. Custom work and repairs are on a case by case basis.
Deliveries are made from 10 am to 2 pm on Monday and Fridays only. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day I arrive.
IN-STORE PICKUP
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at Jewel Envy Studio and Gallery, 151 Marion St. Toronto ON. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 3 to 5 business days.
For custom work, I will be contacting you personally when the order is ready. I will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Generally, my in-store pickup hours are 12 - 6 on Tuesday to Saturday, but these hours are subject to daily changes based. For the best deliveries, I will contact you directly when your order is ready for pickup. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
International Shipping
Currently international shipping available only for USA address, however, other international addresses will be considered based on the order in question.
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Average North American shipping time is 5-7 business days via Canada Post. International tracked shipments are expected to arrive within 14-21 business days, this excludes any weekends or holidays. Final delivery for international packages will be processed by your country’s local postal service.

How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. Use the link below provided by Canada Post.

If you haven’t received your order within 2 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact me at pt.vw@vwgoudsmid.ca with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
PLEASE REFER TO REFUND POLICY FOR DETAILS.
We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email me as soon as possible at pt.vw@vwgoudsmid.ca with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. I address these on a case-by-case basis but will try my best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
